Here is the simple 2 step recipe for potato facial for dark spots and pigmentation –

Step 1: Potato Scrub

  1. Take 1 potato and peel the skin.
  2. Wash the potato and grate it using a grater.
  3. Extract potato juice from the grated potato by using a strainer.
  4. Once the juice is ready, keep it aside.
  5. Take 1 clean bowl and add 2 tablespoons of grated potato to it.
  6. Add 1 1/4 tablespoons of yogurt.
  7. Add 1 1/4 tablespoons potato juice.
  8. Mix all the ingredients well. Your potato scrub is ready.
  9. Before applying, clean your face with rose water to remove excess dirt and dust from your face.
  10. Gently scrub the potato mixture on your face, using a cotton pad or your fingers.
  11. Massage the scrub on your neck as well.
  12. Leave this pack on your face for 8-10 minutes and then rinse off.

Step 2: Potato Face Pack

  1. Take some sandalwood powder or fuller’s earth in a bowl.
  2. I am using fuller’s earth to mix with potato juice.
  3. Mix both the ingredients well to make a pack.
  4. Apply this face pack on your entire face and neck.
  5. Keep it on your face for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Rinse off using normal water.
  7. Pat dry with a towel.
