Exfoliating is a great way of getting rid of dead cells from the skin as it unclogs pores and helps the skin to breathe.
If you have oily skin, you must exfoliate 2-3 times a week to prevent any build-up of excess oil on your face.
Although you can pick up any scrub available in the market for oily skin, I am not a huge fan of spending a lot of money on those fancy scrubs, as I am not sure if all of the ingredients present in those scrubs are beneficial for my skin.
I am on my DIY journey and make a lot of scrubs myself, at home. One of those scrubs is Oats, Strawberry, and Lemon Juice Scrub. This scrub is very helpful in removing tan, excess oil from your face, and in brightening your face.

Benefits Of Oats Strawberry And Lemon Juice Scrub
Strawberry has an acidic property that helps remove oil on the skin and take away all the dead skin cells. It also has salicylic acid that can help fight acne and blackheads.
Oatmeal has properties that can heal and nourish the skin. It is hypoallergenic and has amino acids that can help keep the skin hydrated. The absorbent qualities of oats quickly help in reducing excess sebum production, leaving your complexion smooth, bright, and matte-looking.
It is very nourishing and hence prevents oily skin from producing more oil.
Lemon is one of the best remedies for oily skin. Lemon juice contains citric acid that can control oil secretion in oily skin. It has the capability of reducing pimples effectively. The acid also works well in killing the harmful acne-causing bacteria and reducing acne scars.
