I used to be this person who would walk in a cosmetic store and come out with ten new products every time. A week later I would feel let down with the less than expected performance of the products, and wasteful expenditure thus incurred.
I do not feel like spending a ton of money on skin care products anymore. I love DIY skin care products. They have changed my life.
Today I have yet another DIY remedy to share with you – DIY Vitamin C Glow Serum For Oily Skin. This serum uses Vitamin C tablets.
How Is This Glow Serum Good For Your Skin?
Vitamin C is rightly known as the holy grail of skin care products. Name just about any skin concern – acne, uneven skin tone, fine lines, dull skin etc. And there is good chance that Vitamin C can fix it.
Almond Oil reduces puffiness and under-eye circles. It is known to improve complexion, treat dry skin, improve acne, reverse sun-damage, and mitigate the appearance of scars.
I use Aloe Vera in many of my recipes. This is because its gel like components are known to heal the skin for a variety of ailments.
It gets absorbed easily, making it ideal for oily skin. I swap my regular moisturizer quite a few times with aloe vera to help moisture get retained in my skin.
Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is widely used to treat acne.
Rose Water soothes skin irritation, reduces redness of the skin, helps get rid of acne, and is a great cleanser for removing oil and dirt accumulated in skin pores.
